TCI Introduces Three Connectivity Solutions at SHOT Show
New products include Alpha Push-to-Talk, Gas Mask Adapter and
Mobile Force Field Kit

ONTARIO, California – TCI™ announced today the release of three new communications solutions at SHOT Show 2016 for law enforcement and military professionals, including:

• Alpha Push-To-Talk (PTT): The Alpha PTT is a complete line of submersible, compact Push-To-Talk assemblies that come standard with gas mask connectivity. The line is feature rich with options such as cell phone compatibility, volume control, and remote PTT functionality. An extremely durable PTT assembly manufactured utilizing a proprietary, sealed, reinforced single molded process; this product has a subcompact profile and is available for multiple radio models.

• Gas Mask Adapter (GMA): With increasing amounts of gas deployment in the field, the GMA is an economical and user-friendly solution to gas mask connectivity. The GMA easily converts existing communications systems at an affordable price point.

• Mobile Force Field (MFF) Kit: A lightweight and durable solution, the MFF Kit seamlessly connects PTT assemblies directly to a gas mask for extremely clear audio transmissions. The MFF Kit is ideal for crowd control operations as it allows officers to communicate without wearing a headset or body microphone, and hear uninterrupted audio in loud environments while wearing a gas mask. The MFF Kit features a tubeless audio receiver, NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health)-approved gas mask cable, military-approved connectors, enforced cables and a one-piece, over-molded system for longevity, durability and reliability.

“TCI collaborates with police departments and the military to provide world-class communications systems for real-world applications,” said Scott Carnahan, Vice President, Equipment for Safariland. “Whether direct action, patrol or surveillance, connectivity is an integral component of successful operations to prevent loss of life and injury. These high performing communications solutions were developed to do just that.”

These new TCI products entered the market this month. The Alpha PTT is available in black with MSRPs ranging from $260-$320. The GMA is available in black for $120 and the MFF Kit is available in black for $150 with earmolds for M, L and XL, plus semi-custom earmolds or a universal high nose tip.
