Model 4751 Triad™ Leg Extender for Ankle Holster is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Die Hard Ankle Bandage Bianchi’s Traid is a fascinating tool, and I suspect any criticism you hear will belong to ankle holsters generally, not this product in particular. Unless you’ve got a numb leg, truly comfortable 9-hour ankle holsters just don’t come from factories, but this is a general rule. The Triad's multi-strap system allows for excellent fit while a comparatively large fabric body evenly distributes weight over a large area. Note Well: this one's a little big and looks like a medical device, but then most ankle holsters are a little big and look like ankle holsters; use this to your advantage. Perhaps the best feature of this holster is initially underwhelming: the use of a fabric holster allows for a very snug fit against your leg, with another strap dedicated to keeping that grip from printing. While the thumbsnap hangs on a glorified rubber band, it’s pretty solid for the weak link in a strong chain. Curiously, fabric holsters allow for some unusual size options. As we all know, any reason to have one gun is a good reason to have two, and for cops, make that three. However, for those who’ve tried plinking at 50 yards with a snubbie, you know that pocket pistols stink. Congratulations: Now you can carry a full-size gun—yes, your Glock 17—on an ankle. Of course, this would be unreasonable… your legs will feel quite imbalanced, so let’s make it a pair. Speaking of ergonomics, know that dual-shoulder-holsters are chiropractor-approved, and you can add another triple magazine panel to balance out that duty belt. For those wondering, that’s 171 rounds, 6 lbs. of gun, and 7.25 lbs. of ammo (pocket snubbie not included).
