Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Classic The one and only serious alternative to speedloaders and the speedloader for those with tight pockets. Every revolver owner should have a pair. Remember to leave the sixth hole empty for ease of manipulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only real Alturnative These are the only real alturnative to a speed loader or (stupidly) carrying ammo loose. I have been using them for two decades. after a few years they will become brittle and break, so check them occasionally. One reviewer stated his concern of leaving lead behind in his clothing... understandably, but there is same issue with speed loaders and carrying loose... so... Many years ago I found a slim dump-pouch for 6-rounds. It works fine with the speed strips. This does keep the bullets in the punch and should contain most of the lead. I wish I could give you a source but I bought it a long time ago. Either way, hopefully your carrying JACKETED hollow points. So the majority of the lead would be inside the cavity and away from most of the cloth rubbing. Life is trade-offs; balancing one issue against another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tactical Reload for a Revolver I got these for my S&W Model 25-5. Speedloaders are great for doing a full reload, but what if I fire two or three shots and there's a lull in the fight? That's what I got these for. Until now, all I had was speedloaders, so I'd have to dump out good rounds with the empty cases to use the speedloader to reload. Now I can extract the two or three spent cases and reload with the speed strips, and they work great. They conceal very well and with a few moments' worth of practice they're easy to use. They aren't as fast as a speedloader, but I got them to supplement my speedloaders, not replace them. They're much faster than getting loose cartridges out of your pocket and loading them one at a time, and for tactical reloads with a revolver there's nothing better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Wish I had these... ...back when I was a young gunfighter in the 1870s; they would have made loading my Schofield revolver faster and maybe I would not have lost that last gunfight. Today, they work well with my Uberti Smith & Wesson No. 3 reproduction revovler quite well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old reliable Happy still making these bad boys. Been carrying speed strips instead of speed loaders for three plus decades. Had to get these for my partner and she loves them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from only real option for .44 cal., fast, no bulk works great for 5 rd. .44 Charter Bulldog (original mod.) w/ Pachmeyer signature rubber grips. no clearance problems. lays flat in pocket, watch pocket also. (should remove lint / candy wrappers first). did notice that pull tab broke off after couple years. rounds loose enough to rotate so strip doesn't bow but are still held securely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff I bought these for the times when I carry my revolver concealed I'm always found that with regular speed loaders it's too much of a hassle to carry them around these make it so much easier. I highly recommend them
