Safariland’s Liberator HP Advanced Hearing Protection Headset – Now Available
First dual mode headset with advanced noise compression and cancellation

ONTARIO, California – Safariland®, a brand of The Safariland Group, today introduced the U.S.-designed and manufactured Liberator HP™ advanced hearing protection headset for shooting, hunting and other industrial applications. Driven by original TCI™ brand technology and design, known for its high-end tactical communications, the Liberator HP headset offers everyday consumers a first of its kind dual mode electronic noise compression and active noise cancellation with industry-leading sound localization for maximum situational awareness and sound detection. See them at the 2018 SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor and Trade) Show, January 23 to 26, booth #12762.

“This is the most technologically advanced hearing protection on the commercial market,” said Brad Medine, category director, communications. “The Safariland team is the first to focus on making military-grade, high definition acoustics hearing protection available for the everyday user. To take it to the next level, our internal experts utilized our state-of-the-art acoustics lab to develop a headset that not only features proprietary technology, but also several advancements, such as the dual cell battery compartment, never seen before.”

With electronic noise compression and active noise cancellation, the Liberator HP headset is ideal for users who need to adjust their headsets to ANC (Ambient Noise Cancellation) to reduce constant loud noise, or to ANR/ANC mode to allow in ambient audio, but reduce constant background noises. Featuring a modular headset suspension, users can easily adjust the unit for over-the-head or behind-the-head for maximum comfort.

The patent pending Dual Fuel system allows the Liberator HP headset to run on either two AAA or one CR123 battery and utilize an upgradeable and updatable software using Near Field Communications (NFC) technology. Additionally, the Liberator HP offers proprietary high definition speakers and speaker enclosures and may be upgraded to a communication headset at a later time.

The new Liberator series of headsets have a proprietary glass polymer injection-molded earcup design, layered with sound barrier technology. The Liberator HP hearing protection is offered in Black, and FDE (Flat Dark Earth). Available for order now, with an MSRP of $259.99.
