  • 01. What forms of payment do you accept?

    We gladly accept purchase orders from all public agencies (U.S. government, cities, counties, states, colleges, hospitals, etc.). Orders to public agencies will be billed at Net 30 days upon shipment of merchandise, with payment due 30 days from the invoice date. Non-Government customers interested in obtaining open account must contact us for a credit request form and fax it to (800) 366-1669 or (904) 741-5407, or mail it to the following address:

    In addition, we also accept payment through Visa, Mastercard or American Express, or a check or money order mailed with your order. Returned checks will be subject to a $25 service charge.

  • 02. How can I obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number?

    If you would like to return an item, for any reason, simply contact our customer service department within 90 days of your original order. Please be prepared to provide us with your original order number, which is printed on both your packing slip and invoice. Once processed, you will be issued a return authorization (RA) number.

  • 03. Can I return product which has been opened?

    Yes. However, products which are not in resalable condition will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  • 04. How soon will my order be shipped?

    For an estimate on delivery times, please contact one of our customer service representatives. Shipments outside the United States or to Alaska or Hawaii will incur additional shipping charges.

  • 05. How much will my shipping be?

    Orders within the lower 48 States are subject to our standard shipping table (see below). Oversized and hazardous items may incur additional shipping charges. If you are outside the United States or in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact our Customer Service Department for a shipping quotation.

  • 06. Can all products be shipped with expedited shipping?

    In general, most products can be shipped next day or 2nd day air. However, please note that some items require additional hazardous material charges. Please contact our Customer Service Department if you have any questions regarding these charges.

  • 07. I need an item that isn't listed on your Web site. Can I purchase it from you?

    We try to carry any item you may need. However, we understand that you may have special requirements. If you need a specialized piece of equipment or would like a customized kit, please contact our Customer Service Department. With access to hundreds of suppliers around the world, there is a good chance that we can obtain the items you need. Please note that special order items are sold on a non-returnable basis.

  • 08. Where can I find my order status?

    Order status can be obtained through our easy-to-use Order Tracker. In addition, you can contact our Customer Service Department for additional order details.

  • 09. How do I cancel or modify an order I placed through this Web site?

    We will gladly help you modify or cancel your order. We strive to ship all orders as soon as possible. Provided the order has not entered the shipping process, your order can be modified at any time by contacting our Customer Service Department. If the order you wish to modify or cancel has already entered the shipping process, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may return the item subject to our Returns Policy

  • 10. Can I take or export products I've purchased outside the country where my order was shipped?

    Some products sold through this Web site are controlled by the U.S. Department of Commerce and cannot legally leave the United States without an export license. Failure to obtain a proper export license can result in heavy fines and possible imprisonment. If you are considering exporting or taking any amount of product purchased through the Forensics Source Web site outside the United States, for any purpose, please contact our Customer Service Department to determine if a valid export license is required. We will be happy to assist you in the license application process. We obtain all necessary licenses for orders shipped directly from our facilities to a destination outside the United States.
