Course Overview
Based on the fact that the average distance of engagement for the LE precision rifle has been less than 75 yards, we’ve designed a course that emphasizes real world applications of the precision rifle in a format that stresses readiness, speed of position, and making your first shot count.
Moving quickly into position, acquiring the target, and making the shot in seconds rather than minutes or hours is what this course focuses on. Shooting from uncomfortable positions while under duress at realistic deployment ranges is the priority.
Prerequisites
The Safariland Training Group only trains law enforcement officers, military personnel and correctional personnel.
Required Equipment
- Eye, ear, elbow and knee protection
- Precision rifle with optics
- Bi-pod
- Small sand bag
- Shooting mat
- 200 rounds of ammunition
