IMPAC™ Special Threat Plates - Multi Threat is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compromise Plate A number of guys see the IMPAC-HT plates and are understandably sold on the concept immediately. They then go to the store, see there's a bigger and better MT variant, and place an order. Don't be that guy. The beauty of the HT threats is that they're a hard armor plate without feeling like one: they're thin, semi-flexible, and ultralight. The MT plates, while not as thick as proper hard armor, are a bit thicker and much less flexible than the HT line. While the HT might not do as good a job against an axe, I'd still trust my life to it if a convict tried to stab me. Furthermore, neither the HT nor the MT plates are solid insurance against rifle rounds. The way I see it, the HT is everyman's plate. If you need something more substantial, you're probably looking for ceramic unless you're in corrections. Know what you want, and try both plates on before making an order.
