Rated 2 out of 5 by from hard to know what you need I think the ELS system is great how ever it is extremely hard to determine what you need to mount a holster to your ELS belt. For instance I have a 014 competition holster I brought this holster because videos I have seen with safariland sponsored shooters have shown attached to the ELS belt with the quick release. But what is not shown nor when you search the web sight can you find exactly what you need to mount this holster with the ELS system and you can not tell what holster if any can be mounted with the ELS system, for competition shooting. I shoot several pistols in different matches and brought the ELS system so that I could just change what was mounted on the belt and not a belt for each pistol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hand in hand with the ELS belt Of course, you're going to need a few of these along with the ELS Competition Belt. These little guys are where the magic happens (so to speak). I like to shoot mainly in the Production and Single Stack divisions in USPSA, but I've had the itch to do it all now that I'm more active and I know with these, it'll be much easier to shoot different divisions in one match if I so choose or if the MD's (Match Directors) allow. Pinch, lift, switch, click and you're good to go, no more lugging around different belt set ups, ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatility on a belt The s a wonderfully versatile system. It can be used for pistol magazines, shotgun shell holders, rifle magazines, and multiple other items which need to be carried on a competition or duty belt. The ELS is not appropriate for holsters. My only complaint is buying the ELS receivers and locking forks gets expensive, but the old saying of you get what you pay for applies. I have used my ELS equipment for over a year and there is no indication of looseness or wear. It is a quality product which is adaptable to a variety of manufactures. If you can clean your gun, you should be able to figure out how to use the ELS with gear you already have. The first two items I put on my competition belt using ELS were two dual magazine pouches, one for single stack mags and one for 9MM Glock mags. The pouches started out as low cost paddle pouches . By looking at how the locking fork was configured and observing the construction of the pouches, I was able to remove the paddle and attach the ELS locking fork to the pouch. Now, using the same receiver plate, I can use either single stack mags with my Colt Gold Cup, or Glock mags when I am using my 17. The allen head screws Safariland uses with the ELS and QLS appear to be proprietary to Safariland, as I was unable to find them at a national fastener supplier. However the tread pitch of 8 X 32 is common and allows some flexibility in using over the counter hardware. I used over the counter "T" nuts in my mag pouch project. Safairland also sells a Customizer package, which is a huge help in custom ELS and QLS applications. I highly recommend the ELS, especially if you are playing more than one gun game. I also think it would be very helpful for personnel who may need the ability to change their duty belt to meet a variety of duty or tactical situations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT PRODUCT!!! I bought 2 sets of these for my 3 Gun belt rig and was more than impressed. They were so great I bought 2 more sets to add more accessories to that belt. I'm also a Sheriff and have decided to buy a set for my duty belt. Safariland, accept no substitutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick install and very easy to use Good product, extremely durable and very easy to use. Changing from my drop thigh to my waist takes seconds without any removal of gear. It does sit a little farther out than not using a modular system but this is true for any attachment system. Would highly recommend due to ease of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made I'm in the process of switching over to the ELS system for USPSA and 3-Gun competition use. I bought several of these kits and am impressed with their solid construction and how solidly they lock up.
