Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best loader IMHO I have 2 of these for my j frame and they work perfect. No clearance problems like you get with a bigger knob. I actually came here to order more. I have carried two in my off side pocket for a couple years and had O problems. I just carry them in my jeans pocket. Carry better than others w a big knob.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best for "J" frame S&W Comp II not available for "J" frames. The size of the knob is not an issue as it releases when pressed against the ejector

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Small Speedloader I just purchased a Ruger SP101 .357 MAG 5 shot revolver. I bought 5 of these little speed loaders for it and they work great! Now my only issue is trying to find belt holders for these little speed loaders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A little tricky at first, but now I'm sold I bought the group I for my SP101 in .357 magnum. I (at first) found the operation of the knob a little tricky, couldn't get it to lock in. Well, after some experimentation I found the trick. I use these to shoot competitively and honestly, they are the bomb. Bullets drop into place and speedloader drops away. Much faster than the competition's product. Don't hesitate, get this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slimline Speedloader The Comp I speedloader is a skinny little thing. It feels a little more rickety than the dominant speedloader on the market, but this isn't a deal breaker. Pros: This may be the most concealable speedloader on the market. Cons: 1A) It’s still a fat round thing in your front pocket. 1B) When was relative speedloader concealability a purchase point, anyway? 2) It doesn't feel... as durable as the revolvers it's made for. 3) The nob is teeny and difficult to manipulate under stress. It's a decent speedloader. Grab one if you get a deal or need a compact reload.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good once you get the trick to locking them I put the rounds in, hold it with the ends of the bullets resting downward against a hard flat surface, and press downward on the knob and twist. Works every time for me. Every other method I've tried was a frustrating mess. Once they're locked in there, they stay put until I want them out. Very good product -- but could use better instructions on the package (unless they're there already, and I just didn't read what was in front of me).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't fit CA off-duty Didn't work for my Charter Arms Off-Duty, a five shot .38 special. Removed Hogue grip (thought it might be interfering) even removed cylinder from frame - no dice. It seems that the diameter (of a circle drawn through the center of the primers) of my revolver is slightly smaller than what this speedloader is designed for, causing the cartridges to cock ever so slightly and not enter the cylinder. I've been pleased with every other Safariland product I've owned, this just didn't work for me...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 624 s & w figured out the flaw edges of shells get caught on cylinder binds it all up you can use moon clip guns with out the moon thought a bevel wouldnt hurt took drill with a bit small enough to not hit timing gear 30 seconds per hole and now its a race car lol hks work better now too but the 6 comp 1s i bought are rockets the guys doing the videos ull have to try 1 handed reloads lol less than a 16th inch bevel check it out thanks safariland gun makers should have done that for handloading it would be faster lol
