Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good construction, poor retention I had high hopes for this when I first received it. I first inserted a full-capacity Yuengling and head an audible "click" as the beverage seated in the carrier. Unfortunately, the carrier does not have the active retention required to retain the bottle under stress. I was unable to thwart a bottle-grab attempt, despite my extensive booze-retention training. A level III version of this would be ideal, in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another quality product from Safariland The fit and finish is what one expects form a great company like Safariland. It is very robust with well thought out features. The clam shell design allows one to fit different sized beverage storage containers with enough tension to keep your beverage of choice secure with positive retention. I would recommend a container with a lid as chasing after ne'erdowells may cause spillage issues. Absolutely happy with this product and couldn't recommend this product more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have...... ....For the operator that operates operationally. I've long struggled with my ability to keep a frosty beverage on hand during long shifts or call outs. Until this came along, I tried keeping them everywhere, but with zero success. Back pockets, front pockets, cargo pockets. Nothing really worked. Inevitably, the bottle would fall out and I'd suffer knowing there'd be no end of shift coldie goldie as I watched it's wonderful amber contents soak into the ground amongst the remains of the shattered bottle. With the Model 34 Drink Holder, I've never had to endure such hardship since. My little partner is now able to make it home safe every day. Sure, it might be a little shaken up, but that just makes it easier to pop the top and spray everyone down like we won Lord Stanley's chalice itself at the end of another shift. Good on you Safariland. Yet again you've shown yourselves to be true innovators.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could Use A Bottle Opener Keeper This product is great, replaces my ASP. Heck when I am done, I just reuse the empty bottle as a baton. I sure wish Safariland could incorporate a bottle opener or bottle opener keeper since my bottle opener jingles in my pocket against my loose change making building searches difficult at night!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's about time someone invented this! THANKS Yes I know it came from a tactical web site..... But who cares! It works whatever the activity. Mowing the yard riding a tractor and even Fishing. It fits all soda and beer cans plus bottles and even cans of water. Went fishing and didn't spill a drop! Just buy it NOW!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works as stated Bought this for actual work, holds our new OC blast grenades just perfect. The department in it's infinite wisdom bought some cheap nylon stuff as usual. Use this with confidence. Also will hold your OC Mk-9 as well but I like the 36-8-411 for that.
