Team Bianchi’s Pro Team Member, Kenda Lenseigne, Wins Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association’s Lakota Western US Championship in Las Vegas

Lenseigne takes Overall Cowgirl title for a 7th time

ONTARIO, California – Bianchi®, a brand of The Safariland Group, today announced its Bianchi Pro team member, Kenda Lenseigne, and her horses Sparky and June Bug, won multiple competitions at the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association’s (CMSA) Lakota Western US Championship, July 18 – 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lenseigne beat 252 competitors, both men and women, to take the “Overall Cowgirl” title with a winning time of 64.70 seconds after five combined stages. This is Lenseigne’s seventh Overall Cowgirl win at this event.

In addition to the Overall title, Lenseigne and Sparky won the Double Down Finals, while Lenseigne and her 8-year-old mare, June Bug, placed first in the American Quarter Horse Association’s (AQHA) Ladies Open Division.

“Dedicated work, countless hours of training and a lot of miles on the road continue to pay off for me and my horses,” Lenseigne said. “The relentless practice schedule, along with gear that sets the highest standards every time I ride into the arena, gives me an extra boost of confidence when the pressure is high. My KL Signature Collection Bianchi Cowboy holsters give me the edge to step ahead.”

Lenseigne competed with her black/white Bianchi exclusive Kenda Lenseigne Signature Series Smokechaser™ Cowboy belt and holster in black/white snakeskin. Her next competition is the Wyoming Governor’s Match, August 4 – 5, 2018, at Otto Road Shooting Range in Cheyenne, Wyo.

“It’s a pleasure to send yet another congratulation to Kenda, Sparky, and June Bug,” said Scott Carnahan, vice president for Safariland and Bianchi brands. “Kenda is an incredible talent who never ceases to excite with her outstanding cowgirl skills. We are proud to have her as a member of our team and an ambassador of the brand.”
