Rogers Rail Lite is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total Waste of potential This is a slick little clip-on light, very compact, combining all the benefits of a flashlight and legally risky weapon light (NOT a flashlight) in one package. Unfortunately... This gives you 30 lumens, 28 according to Safariland, 35 according to Streamlight. This is with virgin batteries. Standard low-end duty mini-lights produce 80+, and jerks like myself carry 1100 lumen hand warmers on cold winter days. 30 lumens, by which I mean 25, 20, 15, 10…, is hardly enough to let the bad guy see you, much less the opposite. Great for reading romance novels in hostile environments, though. Now really folks, let's think about this. Streamlight's Protac Series has a very small 1AA unit producing 70 lumens and a 2 CR123A light for about the same size producing 260 lumens... $30 MSRP SPENT ON A BETTER LIGHT WOULD HAVE INCREASED OUTPUT BY 829%! Safariland, what were you thinking? The Rapid Light System is brilliant, literally, in every way. This isn’t, literally, in every way. What a disappointment from an otherwise top-notch brand.
