“The main purpose of concealed carry is you don’t want people to know you have a firearm,” says Donnie Myers, owner of 295 Tactical. To help you maintain a low profile, the Safariland® 7378 7TS concealment holster is offered with different belt mounting accessories, including paddle, clip-on and belt slide versions. All are designed to ensure a snug fit on the waistband, and reduce printing on the outside of clothing.
A highly qualified instructor, Myers has over 35 years experience of safe handling of firearms. He teaches a variety of firearms courses to security and law enforcement professionals, as well as home firearm safety and range safety.
The 7TS Concealment Holster features the ALS® Automatic Locking System to secure the firearm once holstered. “A natural gripping motion will unlock the firearm. Nice smooth draw, and upon returning the firearm to the holster it locks and secures it automatically,” says Myers.
7TS holsters are crafted from SafariSeven™, a nylon blend that is non-abrasive to a firearm’s finish, yet can withstand the harshest conditions. Drop the holster in water, and it will maintain its structural integrity. Leave the holster in your vehicle on a blistering hot day, and it will be fine, tolerating up to 300°F. And when the thermometer dives in the other direction, 7TS holsters will survive a -50°F cold blast.
For those who spend time outside in less than stellar weather, where moisture and mud are a part of the environment, the 7TS holsters have raised stand-offs inside. These allow any water or debris to wash away, out of the holster. Myers adds, “Upon drawing the firearm you have less resistance with those stand-off points for a faster draw.”
Fits are available now for your favorite concealed carry weapons including Glock 42, 43, Smith & Wesson Shield, and Ruger LC9 (Springfield XDS and Colt 1911 Government and Commander coming soon).
