This new magnified scope features a ranging component and illuminated reticle, improving aiming effectiveness in both low light and daylight conditions.

Designed by Pride-Fowler, Inc., the RR-CQLR-1 provides a precise aim regardless of the power or magnification settings. The scope features a convenient fast-focus eyepiece adjustment and multi-coated lenses that reduce reflections and provide a clearer image of the target. The reticle is aligned in the first focal plane, keeping the reticle and target in the same proportion in any magnification. The RR-CQLR-1 is easily adjusted horizontally for windage and vertically for elevation with positive ¼ Minute of Angle (M.O.A) clicks on the low-profile, target-type knobs allowing the shooter to quickly compensate for crosswinds. SAFARILAND™ INTRODUCES NEW MOLLE LOCKING SYSTEM FOR HOLSTERS

Jacksonville, FL., March 12, 2009—Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today the introduction of its new MOLLE Locking System (MLS™) and Quick Locking System (QLS ™) for law enforcement, SWAT, military and personal protection applications. The two new locking systems allow users to quickly mount, reposition and remove many Safariland holsters or accessories to belts or MOLLE loop-equipped apparel.

The Safariland MLS allows holsters and accessories to be attached to any belt or MOLLE loop-equipped apparel using two locking forks. Squeezing the two forks together and pulling removes the MLS, allowing users to rapidly modify gear arrangements without the need for tools or removal of vests, leg shrouds or belts. The MLS can also be used for mounting holsters and accessories beneath a dashboard inside a vehicle or under a desk in a home or business.

The Safariland QLS attaches holsters and accessories on locking forks similar to the MLS, yet is designed for a duty officer to be able to slide the QLS fork onto the duty belt. The duty plate is designed specifically for the Universal Belt Loop (UBL) and will satisfy a Level I Retention™ pull test.

The Safariland MLS and QLS will work with any Safariland duty, tactical or concealment holster that features a standard three-hole bolt pattern. A Safariland ALS™ (Automatic Locking System) holster is recommended for both applications.

The new Safariland MLS and QLS are available in black, flat dark earth brown, foliage green or OD green.
