Safariland Ballistics International Enters European Market with Concealable Body Armor

ONTARIO, California – The Safariland Group announced today the decision to launch a new brand of concealable body armor specifically designed for the international market – “Safariland Ballistics International” (SBI). With nearly 40 years of experience in manufacturing body armor for law enforcement agencies throughout the United States, the SBI brand will deliver quality and performance-engineered body armor to countries throughout the European market.

The Safariland Group presented their first models of the SBI family of armor solutions at the 2013 IWA conference in Nuremberg, Germany. SBI plans to introduce its initial core offering of ballistic packages along with an extensive line of carriers ranging from ultra-concealable to response overts in the second quarter this year.
