Hatch® adds New Tactical “Wall” Deployment Bag to its Line of Gear Bags
January 15, 2006
Hatch introduces the WALL Deployment Bag to its line of technical gear bags for law enforcement professionals. Designed to attach to the lower leg via two adjustable leg straps, the WALL bag was developed specifically for covert tactical rappelling operations. Among the many features of the WALL Bag, it boasts a full 4 ½” expandable panel for extra rope stuffing, three multiple gear pockets and one large glove pocket with hook and loop closures. Two rows of MOLLE-style caribiner loops are sewn onto the large pocket to provide multiple attachment points.
Special details of the WALL Deployment Bag are an inside bottom rope-knotting loop for a safety stop, and an elastic gear loop inside the large pocket to secure descenders, ascenders and rope breaks and bartacks at all key stress points for extra strength. “The Wall Deployment bag is yet another example of our long standing philosophy of collaboration with the professional user during the product development process”, stated Bill Hatch, head of Research and Development. The WALL Deployment Bag was engineered with input from 28-year veteran of Houston P.D., Field Master Peace Officer, M.L. “Sandy” Wall, who served 22 years on SWAT detail, over ten of which were as Entry-Team Leader.
The WALL Bag is constructed of a polyurethane coated durable canvas fabric with heavy duty nylon webbing and Stealth™ Warrior buckles for rugged durability in field operations. Offered in black with an MSRP of $45.00, The WALL Bag is available in January.
