Monadnock Introduces New And Improved Web Site

The newly redesigned Monadnock® Web site was recently unveiled to the law enforcement community. The clean, concise design helps users quickly and easily find their desired topic. Users can now access a search function that allows for fast access to information on patented AutoLock® batons, reliable and sturdy PR-24® batons and traditional favorites, the Classic Friction Lock batons. The site features information about Test & Evaluation opportunities, training programs as well as a video demonstration of the expandable baton in action.

Armor Holdings Acquires Hiatts

Armor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AH), a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products, tactical wheeled vehicles and vehicle armor systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today that its Armor Products International, Ltd. (U.K.) subsidiary has acquired Hiatt & Company, Ltd (Hiatts). Hiatts, based in Birmingham, England, is a leading manufacturer of handcuffs serving the military and law enforcement markets, predominantly in the U.K. and Europe. Hiatts’ diverse product line includes steel handcuffs, expandable friction lock batons, handcuff pouches, and baton holders. Terms of the acquisition, which closed on July 10, were not disclosed.
