CASCO American-Made Friction Lock Batons Back on the Market

The Safariland Group announces today the re-introduction of the popular CASCO™ brand of police batons at the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) January 14 - 17, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. The CASCO line of friction lock batons are made in the USA and are held to rigorous quality standards, uncommon with other economy-priced batons. CASCO friction lock batons are easily opened with a flick of the wrist, lock into place via precision Morse tapers and are closed by striking the baton on a hard surface.

The Mustang Survival® brand will be showcasing its line of tactical personal protective equipment at the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) January 14 - 17, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. The Mustang Survival brand will debut as a new brand with The Safariland Group since its acquisition in 2013. Mustang Survival will be exhibiting an integrated flotation and armored vest system as part of its 2014 line up and product experts will be available to review this and the entire product line throughout the show.

New Med-Eng Multi-Mission TAC 6 Explosive Protection Suit Featured at 2014 SHOT Show

The Med-Eng® brand announced today that its new multi-mission TAC 6 suit and visor ensemble for tactical officers will be introduced at the 2014 Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) from January 14 -17 in Las Vegas, Nev. This high-mobility protective equipment addresses the increasing threats posed by explosive devices during operations. Frontline personnel including breachers, dog handlers, High Risk Search teams and bomb disposal technicians supporting tactical teams, face these dual threats in addition to conventional ballistic threats. Elite European Forces Select Med-Eng EOD9 for Multi-Threat Blast Protection

Med-Eng®, a brand of The Safariland Group, announced today that it has recently been awarded contracts totalling more than $7,000,000 to provide multi-threat blast protection equipment to elite bomb disposal technicians in four European countries.
