Defense Technology Introduces the Low Roll Training Simulator
The Defense Technology® brand announced today the release of the new Low Roll™ Training Simulator – a training tool with a pneumatic fuze, designed to replicate their live Low Roll Distraction Device® unit. Developed by Airsoft Innovations for the Defense Technology brand, this training simulator, featuring a patent-pending design, provides agencies a safe way to introduce operators to the use of the Low Roll Distraction Device models during simulation exercises. The all-inclusive Low Roll Training Simulator kit gives agencies the ability to cost-effectively integrate deployment skills into their force-on-force training programs.

Counterfeit Body Armor Identified by Florida Department of Law Enforcement
The Safariland Group has been notified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) regarding counterfeit body armor vests that have been confiscated in an investigation in the southeastern United States. Among the numerous vest models seized, the ABA® and Second Chance® brands were identified among the several counterfeit brands being offered for sale at gun shows.

(“TCI”), a communications integration business focused on tactical communications systems, including customized and commercial off the shelf headsets and audio solutions. TCI operates out of facilities located in Brentwood, California and Gilmanton, New Hampshire.

The Safariland Group Acquires the Med-Eng® Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Crew Survivability Businesses of Allen-Vanguard Corporation
The Safariland Group (the “Company”), a leading provider of safety and survivability products for law enforcement, military, tactical, professional and outdoor markets has acquired the explosive ordnance disposal (“EOD”) and crew survivability (“CS) businesses (the “Businesses”) of Allen-Vanguard Corporation, the leader in customized solutions for defeating terrorist and extremist threats. The Businesses acquired include the Med-Eng® brand of EOD bomb suits and remotely operated vehicles and the crew survivability products include customized blast attenuation seats and thermal management systems. The Businesses are located in Ottawa and Pembroke, Canada and Ogdensburg, New York.

Team Safariland’s Michael Voigt wins the USPSA MultiGun Nationals for 13th time!
Safariland® proudly congratulates Team Safariland members, including now 13-time champion Michael Voigt, on their outstanding wins at the 2013 USPSA MultiGun Nationals. Held at the Desert Sportsman Range in Las Vegas, NV, 12 challenging courses tested the shooters’ skills operating the rifle, shotgun and pistol. After three days of facing top-shooters in this event, Team Safariland’s Michael Voigt won the open championship with his impeccable performance.
