On February 18, 2009, a Production Advisory was issued for the Defense Technology™ Model #1325 40mm Single Shot Launcher, which had been purchased between October 2008 and December 2008. The trigger and hammer mechanisms on the single launcher occasionally produced a light hammer strike due to recent production modification.

On February 18, 2009, a Product Advisory was issued for the Defense Technology™ Model #1325 40mm Single Shot Launcher, which had been purchased between October 2008 and December 2008. The trigger and hammer mechanisms on the single launcher occasionally produced a light hammer strike due to a recent production modification. Part of this process included the use of a new molded hammer.

On February 18, 2009, a Product Advisory was issued for Defense Technology’s Model #1325, 40mm Single-Shot Launchers which your agency purchased between October 2008 and December 2008. At that time, it was determined that the trigger and hammer mechanisms on some single launchers were not operating properly and occasionally produced a light hammer strike. The issue occurred due to a recent product modification to the trigger and hammer assembly process.
